Connect AI tools
Give AI-generated HTML a built-in editor. Connect once, then call PageOn before delivering the file.
Install the Codex plugin
After connecting, Codex uses PageOn to add free basic editing to standalone HTML pages, reports, presentations and prototypes it creates. You can ask it to skip PageOn and keep plain HTML.
Download PageOn pluginProduction service · Install through a local marketplace · Public directory listing is not yet available
1. Download and extract
Extract the plugin into a folder named pageon. Keep the complete folder, including the hidden .codex-plugin directory and .mcp.json file.
2. Install in Codex
Select the extracted folder in a new Codex task and send this instruction:
Add the plugin in my selected pageon folder to my personal Codex marketplace and install it, preserving existing plugins. Then connect PageOn and open the browser so I can sign in and authorize it.
3. Sign in and authorize
Sign in to PageOn in the browser, approve the connection, and return to Codex. No access token needs to be copied. Installation and connection do not spend Credits.
4. Start a new task
Create an HTML page for a product launch and save it as a new editable file.
Open the generated HTML, click Edit to change text, then Save a copy. Text notes are free. For character notes, advanced offline tools and debranding, explicitly ask: “Use premium export; I authorize spending 1 Credit.”
Pricing and privacy
Basic text editing and text notes are free, even with zero Credits. Character notes, advanced tools and debranding cost 1 Credit per HTML file, require your explicit authorization, and use your connected PageOn balance. HTML is sent to PageOn for temporary processing without persisting its contents. Original images, fonts and scripts may still need a network connection.
Trouble connecting?
If tools are missing after installation, refresh the plugin list and start a new task. If authorization expires, reconnect from the PageOn plugin in Codex instead of reusing an old link. Codex handles the callback automatically; you do not need to open it manually.
